The story awaits you
Discover or rediscover one of the most beautiful châteaux in the Loire Valley, its architecture and its extraordinary history with a fun tour that will teach you everything you need to know about the history of this unique heritage site, whether you are 7 or 97 years old!
Come and discover the history of a château where the kings and queens of France lived long before Versailles. In addition to the crimes and conspiracies that took place there, I will explain the different architectural styles that can be seen there and which make this château a unique place in France. We will also trace the genealogy of the Valois kings and even the beginnings of the Bourbons, but don't worry, we'll do it all with a touch of humour and funny anecdotes.
Although this château is less well known than Versailles or even Chambord, it played a crucial role in France's history, and the other châteaux of the Loire Valley would not have been the same without it.
For a more comfortable visit, for groups of more than two people, I use a transmitter and headphone system. This will make the tour and your understanding of it even better.
An interactive tour
This tour is interactive, so you’ll need to participate by answering my questions or even trying to remember the names of our kings and queens.

"As luck would have it, we ran into Sarah, our guide from Chambord, for the tour of Blois. She was able to put the two castles and their history into perspective. She knows her subject very well, and her commentary enriches everything we see in a way that is both engaging and informative, refreshing and updating our sometimes rusty knowledge of one of the most fascinating periods in French history. We learned a great deal, and were left wanting to know even more than what the very brief 90-minute tour allowed us to discover."
