The story awaits you

Discover or rediscover one of the most famous private châteaux in the Loire Valley with a fun tour suitable for ages 7 to 97!

Come and learn about the history of a château where the kings and queens of France once lived. We'll talk about silly deaths, conspiracies, construction and war. We will also trace the genealogy of the kings of France, including Napoleon, but don't worry, we will do so with a touch of humour and amusing anecdotes. During this tour, we will talk about various characters from very different eras, and we will even mention Algeria.

This château, which has been privately owned for centuries, remains a jewel of France's heritage, with a magnificent view of the Loire.

For a more comfortable visit, for groups of more than 2 people, I use a transmitter and headphone system. This will make the tour and your understanding of it even better.

Entrance tickets are not included. Please purchase them directly from the castle ticket website.

Bonus tip: If you like Leonardo da Vinci, don't hesitate to round off your visit with a trip to Clos Lucé, which I also recommend. Add this visit to the other half of your day, as this other castle is just a stone's throw away from the kings' castle.

An interactive tour

This tour is interactive, so you’ll need to participate by answering my questions or even trying to remember the names of our kings and queens.
